This is the only ‘alternative’ wrap that meets requirements to stay away from dairy, flours or yeast but offers good flavour and wrapability.
Really sweet and coconut flavor also thick and hard to bite through bought for sandwiches but is so sweet can probably only use for maybe chicken salad or dessert definitely wouldnt use as taco shell still pretty good though and doesn’t break when you fold it
I was very hesitant on trying these because I don’t like tortillas but they came so highly recommended from a trusted nutritionist Dr Bobby Price! So I went ahead and ordered them from Amazon who always has everything and let me tell you! The crunch which is a delicate crunch not extremely crunchy is awesome and you just handle it gently as you roll it try not to be rough with it and you will thoroughly enjoy whatever it is that you put inside! Excellent health-wise and so nutritious that after eating two of them with quite a bit of guacamole and ground veggie meat I feel satisfied not over stuffed I don’t have the bloating the typical bread would give you and I’m so excited to try the cinnamon ones with some nut butter and fruit! Buy them today you won’t regret it!
I’ve been on an autoimmune (AIP) diet for about a year now; I use these as a substitute for various wraps since I can’t have gluten. These have a sweet coconut taste, so I use them for desserts like strawberry/banana crepes instead of with savory things like tacos and sandwich wraps. For savory things, I use the turmeric flavored wraps and double them up.
I truly love this cereal. It is nice and dense and filling, so you don’t actually need a lot in your bowl at one time. I add chopped organic banana, pear, walnuts and sometimes coconut (white) chips. So tasty all together with NUCO ORGANIC Grain and Gluten Free Coconut Crunch!!! I read a review with a comment that the packet wasn’t very full upon arrival. I do agree with that – it would be fabulous to see more product in each batch. However I realized as it is also a very dense item, you don’t need to use very much at each sitting, so one packet does last longer than one expects it to. It isn’t a cheap product, but a lot of products at the moment seemed to have out priced themselves. I do see this on sale quite a lot here on Amazon however, which is very helpful. Be nice if there was a discount also available for purchasing more than one box at a time. YUMMY cereal that I highly recommend. It also does taste like eating a wheat cereal, although it is grain free. I really like that about it. I love the taste of wheat, it just doesn’t like me – so I eat grain-free. A 10 out of 10 on the packing too. Good sturdy box – and inside the cereal pouch bag is super-easy to reseal once opened and a really good seal, so cereal stays really fresh time and time again!!!!
