Founder’s Inspiration
The inception of KFII stemmed from a deep desire to support coconut farmers. Driven by her pure love and passion for agriculture, the founder, Dr. Priscila F. Kimes, PhD, was inspired by her parents, who were also coconut farmers. Her dedication led her to persistently innovate high-value products from coconuts and other agricultural produce.
Company Evolution
The company started with just 8 employees and has since grown to nearly 200 employees while also supporting over 100 farmers and traders in the region. KFII encourages organic farming and has helped certify over 500 hectares of farms under USDA NOP, EU, COR, PNS international organic agriculture standards.
KFII currently produces export-quality dried fruits and vegetables, with its flagship products – Coconut Wraps (Original, Turmeric, Moringa, Cinnamon, & Cassava flavors) and Coconut Flakes/ Crunch / Cereal (Original, Cinnamon, Mango, Banana, Cacao) – patented in multiple countries, including the United States, Europe, Canada, Japan, Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, India, Korea, and the Philippines, among others.
